At Richmond and Wilberforce Vet Hospitals, our number one goal is to provide compassionate, professional care for our patients and their owners.  To this end, we endeavour to treat your pets as we would treat our own, and treat you as we would like to be treated ourselves.

Tom Winters BVSc

Dr Thompson has officially retired but you might see him from time to time when he comes back to locum when one of our vets is on leave!

Jennifer Poon BVSc

Veterinarian (BVSc)

Jennifer joined the team in December 2010 after graduating from the University of Sydney.  Since then she has enjoyed getting to know regular and new pets to Richmond & Wilberforce Vet Hospitals and their families.

Growing up with dogs, cats, fish and a rabbit, Jennifer has always had a love for animals from a young age.  Being able to provide preventative care for healthy pets as well as helping sick or injured pets and wildlife has been a lifelong goal.  Jen's areas of interest include ophthalmology (eyes), dental cases and cuddle time with our boarders.

In her downtime she enjoys reading, playing sports and being owned by her dog and two cats that she hand raised from tiny little motherless strays
